Join us for an engaging and thought, provoking talk by Carina van Wyk, where she will unpack the impact of misinformation and explore practical ways to counter the spread of harmful content online. The session will highlight the power of fact  checking, the importance of misinformation literacy, and how responsible digital citizenship can safeguard both individuals and communities.

Van Wyk is a respected media and digital literacy expert, and founder of  NetSavvy. With over 20 years of experience, including her role as former Head of Education and Training at Africa check, she has trained thousands across the African continent to identify, analyse, and debunk false information.
