Die Partnership for Africa\u2019s Next Generation of Academics (PANGeA)<\/strong> is a collaborative network consisting of leading African universities focused on fostering excellence in scholarship across the arts, humanities, and social sciences on the African continent.<\/p>\n The network aims to:<\/strong><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text ul_position=”inside” _builder_version=”4.16″ _module_preset=”default” text_font_size=”16px” header_font=”|600|||||||” header_text_color=”#B79962″ header_2_text_color=”#B79962″ header_3_text_color=”#B79962″ custom_margin=”11px||0px||false|false” custom_padding=”||5px||false|false” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n PANGeA<\/strong> was founded in 2010 by the University of Botswana, the University of Dar es Salaam (Tanzania), Makerere University (Uganda), the University of Malawi, the University of Nairobi (Kenya) and Stellenbosch University (South Africa). Four years later, the University of Ghana and the University of Yaound\u00e9 I in Cameroon joined the consortium.<\/p>\n From 2010 to 2019, \u00a082 doctoral candidates, from 8 African countries in the PANGeA network have graduated, with the average rate of completion 2.94 years.<\/p>\n\n
