BASC-komitee<\/strong><\/p>\n

Die BA Studentekomitee (afgekort as BASK) BASK)<\/strong>is 'n span studenteleiers wat verkies word as verteenwoordigers vir alle studente in die Fakulteit Lettere en Sosiale Wetenskappe (FASS). BASC-verteenwoordigers sit op Fakulteitskomitees saam met personeellede en administrateurs om 'n studenteperspektief te bied en voorspraak te maak vir studente in alle aspekte van Fakulteitsinteraksie, van Sosiale Impak tot Kultuur en Transformasie.<\/p>\n

Ons taak is om akademiese navrae te hanteer, sosiale en kulturele bewustheid te bevorder, en aan die spits te staan van inisiatiewe wat relevant is vir die FASS- en Universiteitstudentegemeenskap. BASC is dus verantwoordelik vir die re\u00ebl van geleenthede om studente se interaksie met die fakulteit en met ander studente te bevorder. Ons organiseer geleenthede soos Volhoubaarheids- en uitreikprogramme<\/strong>, sowel as 'n Fakulteit Dans<\/strong>. Al ons werk is bedoel om 'n afgeronde en stimulerende akademiese ervaring vir al die studente in ons fakulteit te verseker.<\/p>\n

BASC Uitvoerende Komitee<\/strong><\/p>\n

Die BASC-komitee is ook verantwoordelik vir meer as net Studente-voorspraak en Interaksie<\/strong>aan, ons is in ons kern u verteenwoordigers, en is as sodanig ook hier om te help met enige kwessies en griewe wat u moontlik mag h\u00ea.<\/p>\n

BASC is ook verantwoordelik vir die aanstelling en bestuur van die mentorspanne in die Musiek, visuele kunste en drama Musiek, visuele kunste en drama<\/strong> departemente (met liefde na verwys as MAD mentors).<\/p>\n

BASC Nie-Uitvoerende Komitee<\/b><\/p>\n

Hierdie MAD-mentors is senior studente wat optree as 'n gids vir nuwe studente wat hulp nodig het om hul skedules, klasse en soms selfs persoonlike kwessies te bestuur. Die mentorspanne word gesien as 'n senior vriend om te help uitkyk vir sukkelende studente \u2013 daarom is hulle ook 'n direkte skakel tussen die departemente wat nie in die hoof-BA-gebou is nie en die BASC Studenteverhoudinge-portefeuljebestuurder, sou enige kwessies ernstig genoeg wees om ons betrokkenheid te regverdig.<\/p>\n

Die BASC-span sien uit na die jaar wat kom, en ook interaksie met al ons studente.<\/p>\n

Jordan Dart- Chairperson<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

My name is Jordan Dart, and I am the Chairperson of the BA Student Committee. I am a first year BA Humanities Student going into my second year in 2025. I am also a general member on the academic affairs council, the faculty board, faculty committee and chairs committee. I interact with everyone in the faculty, from students to Heads of Departments and the Deanery. Overall, it is my job to take care of my beautiful team and the students within the faculty, oversee every task, and help you too. A fun fact about me is that I used to be a professional athlete, lived in Paris for a bit, worked in Paramedics and was an English teacher. People say I am intimidating but you will never see me chatting to someone without a smile!<\/p>\n

My name is\u00a0Penny Campbell, and I am the\u00a0Vice-Chairperson\u00a0of the BA Student Committee. I am in my second year, going into my third year in 2025 for BA (Language and Culture). A fun fact about me is that I am an international student from Namibia, and I am a novel writer with an already published book on an online platform. I have national colours in Chess and Archery which I achieved for two years in high school. This led me to travel around the world to compete in competitions.<\/p>\n
