Shut Up & Write is open to everyone, including staff, postdoctoral researchers, students, academics, and creatives. Attendance is completely free, with no need to RSVP. Additionally, participation is flexible, with no obligation to attend every session or stay for the entire duration. The sessions take place at the Department of Journalism, 26 Crozier Road, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. The third block of the initiative begins this Thursday and will continue until 3 July 2025. We recognise that it is exam and submission season and hope that those interested can join us if they require a dedicated space and time (and snacks) to concentrate on their preparations and submissions.
